Android Version 10 Battery Optimization

When your mobile device is set to Battery Optimization mode, certain features will be turned off, in your app.

The Location Info on your phone will be turned off, and your app will not be able to record breadcrumbs during a load, if Battery Optimization is turned on.

The battery life on your phone will not last as long, if this is turned off.

For best results with load breadcrumb tracking, keep your device plugged in, and keep the app open, in the foreground of your screen.

 

From the Load Details screen, tap on the red Tracking Error! bar.

Select Tap here on the confirmation window.

 

Tap on the drop-down menu, below the Battery Optimization tile.

Select All apps.

 

From the Battery optimization screen, scroll down until you locate the Transflo icon, then tap on the tile.

 

Tap Don’t optimize, on the pop-up window, to turn off Battery optimization.

 

 

Turn Off Battery Optimization from the Settings Screen

From the Settings screen on your mobile device, tap on the Apps & notifications tile.

 

If you recently had the Transflo app open, it will appear underneath Recently opened apps.

You can tap the icon or tap See all apps and scroll down until you locate Transflo.

 

From the App info screen, tap the Battery tile.

 

On the Battery usage screen, tap on Battery optimization.

 

Tap on the drop-down menu, below the Battery Optimization tile.

Select All apps.

Scroll down until you find Transflo, then tap on the tile.

 

On the pop-up window, tap on Don’t optimize, then tap Done, to turn off Battery Optimization.
